ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of the hosting and related services (“Services”) provided by WEBNETAVE.COM (operating as Canada Web Pro). This AUP forms part of, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Service. By using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. We may update this AUP at any time without prior notice.
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes. Any transmission, storage, or display of information that violates applicable laws — including the laws of Ontario and Canada — is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services for any customer whose actions expose WEBNETAVE.COM to legal liability or disrupt our ability to provide reliable service to others. You agree to indemnify and hold WEBNETAVE.COM harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Services.
1. PROHIBITED USES
1.1 Illegal or Harmful Activities
You may not use the Services to publish, store, or distribute content or engage in activities that are harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or illegal under Canadian law. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Disclosing private or sensitive personal information about others
- Distributing malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Unlawful distribution of controlled substances or drug contraband
- Promotion, sale, or distribution of prescription medications without a valid prescription
- Gambling or betting operations
- Hosting, linking to, or distributing child pornography or content harmful to minors
- Any account found hosting or linking to such content will be terminated immediately and reported to law enforcement
- Hosting or promoting FOREX schemes, E‑Gold exchanges, Second Life/Linden exchanges, Ponzi schemes, MLM/pyramid schemes, HYIP programs, or similar activities
- Hosting or linking to fraudulent, deceptive, or scam‑related websites
- Hosting or linking to anonymous proxy services
- Infringing on the intellectual property rights of others, including unauthorized distribution of movies, music, books, images, software/warez, or other copyrighted works
- Money laundering
- Phishing, identity theft, or impersonation
- Selling weapons or ammunition
1.2 Unauthorized System Access or Network Abuse
You may not use the Services to gain unauthorized access to any system or network. Prohibited activities include:
- Accessing another network without permission
- Probing, scanning, or testing for vulnerabilities
- Breaching security or authentication measures
- Launching Denial‑of‑Service (DoS) or similar attacks
- Intercepting or monitoring data without authorization
- Running file‑sharing or peer‑to‑peer distribution services
- Running software that interfaces with IRC networks
- Using automated tools such as bots, scrapers, crawlers, spiders, macros, or similar technologies to access or interact with our systems without permission
1.3 System Performance Interference
You may not consume excessive server resources or run scripts/processes that negatively impact system performance or disrupt other customers.
1.4 Zero‑Tolerance Adult Content Policy
You may not use the Services to host, distribute, or promote pornography, adult content, or escort services. Such accounts may be removed without warning or refund.
1.5 No Storage of Personal Backups
Hosting accounts are intended for website hosting only. You may not use your hosting account as a personal file storage or backup repository. We reserve the right to remove backup files, except for the two website backup files created through the cPanel Backup tool.
2. ZERO‑TOLERANCE SPAM POLICY
WEBNETAVE.COM maintains a strict zero‑tolerance policy for spam.
You may not use the Services to send:
- unsolicited bulk email
- unsolicited commercial email
- email that violates Canada’s Anti‑Spam Legislation (CASL)
Prohibited actions include:
- Using “safe lists,” purchased lists, or selling email lists
- Sending spam via email, fax, SMS, instant messaging, or newsgroups
- Hosting websites advertised through spam (“spamvertised” sites)
- Sending email from invalid or misconfigured addresses
- Sending email that results in our IP addresses being blacklisted
Any account that sends spam may be suspended or terminated without notice.

3. DEFAMATION & OBJECTIONABLE CONTENT
WEBNETAVE.COM supports freedom of expression and does not pre‑screen or monitor customer content. However:
- We generally require a court order from a court of competent jurisdiction to remove allegedly defamatory content.
- We may, at our sole discretion, disable or remove content to prevent harm to others or to WEBNETAVE.COM.
We are not responsible for verifying the accuracy of user‑generated content.
4. ENFORCEMENT
4.1 Resellers
If a reseller’s customer violates this AUP:
- The offending account may be suspended
- The reseller will be notified
- Repeated violations may result in suspension or termination of the reseller’s entire account
4.2 Direct Customers
Your Services may be suspended or terminated with or without notice for any violation of this AUP.
4.3 Reporting to Law Enforcement
Where applicable, violations may be reported to law enforcement authorities.
4.4 Failure to Respond
Failure to respond to a compliance inquiry within 48 hours may result in suspension or termination of Services, regardless of whether the email was opened or read.
4.5 Discretionary Enforcement
WEBNETAVE.COM reserves the right to enforce, or decline to enforce, this AUP at its sole discretion.
