WEBNETAVE.COM (operating as Canada Web Pro) builds accessibility‑friendly websites using modern best practices; however, we do not guarantee AODA or WCAG compliance, nor do we provide full accessibility audits, remediation, documentation, staff training, or compliance reporting required for organizations with 50 or more employees under Ontario law. Full AODA compliance is a client responsibility and requires internal policies, testing, and procedures beyond the scope of website design services. Clients who require full AODA/WCAG compliance must engage a qualified accessibility specialist.
9.3 Security Disclaimer We are not liable for:
- hacking
- malware

9.4 Limitation of Liability Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the project.
10. Website Ownership & Intellectual Property Rights
1. Ownership of the Final Website Upon full payment of all project fees, the Client receives full ownership of the completed website’s design, layout, written content, images provided by the Client, and standard WordPress configuration created specifically for the Client.
2. Developer Intellectual Property Canada Web Pro retains ownership of all underlying frameworks, proprietary tools, custom scripts, internal processes, reusable components, and any non‑client‑specific code used to build the website. The Client receives a perpetual, non‑exclusive license to use these components as part of their website.
3. Licensing of Third‑Party Assets Any third‑party themes, plugins, stock images, fonts, or software used in the project remain subject to their respective licenses. Where licenses require renewal (e.g., premium plugins), the Client is responsible for ongoing fees unless included in a Canada Web Pro maintenance plan.
4. Domain Name Ownership The Client must register and maintain their own domain name. If Canada Web Pro registers the domain on behalf of the Client, ownership will be transferred upon request and payment of any outstanding fees.
5. Hosting & Access The Client owns all content and data stored on their hosting account. If hosting is provided by Canada Web Pro, the Client retains ownership of their website content but agrees to the hosting provider’s terms.
6. Portfolio Rights Canada Web Pro retains the right to display the completed website, screenshots, and project details in its portfolio, marketing materials, and case studies unless the Client requests otherwise in writing.
7. Transfer to Another Provider If the Client chooses to move their website to another provider, the Client has full access to their web assets by logging into their Canada Web Pro account. The new provider will have to complete the migration. Migration assistance beyond this is billable at the current hourly rate.
11. No Resale or Redistribution of Website Design
The Client is granted ownership of the completed website for the sole purpose of operating their own business. The Client may not resell, redistribute, sub-license, or provide copies of the website design, layout, structure, templates, or custom code to any third party.
The only exception is when the Client is selling their business in full, in which case the website may be transferred as part of the business assets. This clause does not permit the Client to sell the website design as a standalone product or to use it as a template for other businesses. The client must inform Canada Web Pro of such a sale and change the client account information for their online customer account and client login, new name of contact, and email address and new phone number. The client agrees that not doing so, the new owner may be locked out of access to their web assets
