Website & Email Backup Policy

This policy applies to the websites :

Shared Hosting Plans:

For customers hosted with Canada Web Pro services, periodic backups of data on the hosting servers, and email infrastructure are completed but the final responsibility for all backups of the data on your web hosting packages rests with the customer. For customers who have web hosting with a provider other than Canada Web Pro, you are solely responsible for your website backups and Canada Web Pro. does not keep your website backed up.

We strongly recommend that you take periodic backups and store them at your end so that you have multiple options in case of necessity for a restore. If hosted with Canada Web Pro, you can use cPanel to back up your website files and keep multiple time frame back ups. Contact us if you need assistance in how to do this manually.

We strongly recommended that you make use of our Website Guard Backup service for reliable and inexpensive offsite back ups. With Managed Cloud Hosting and all Email services Canada Web Pro does not maintain any backups that can be restored on a per server or package basis.

WordPress Cloud Hosted Plans:

Backups are never a guaranteed service by nature of the services.

Cloud Hosted Plans:

For customers hosted on a Cloud Hosted Plan, backups are never a guaranteed service by nature of the services. Consider adding a Website Guard Backup service

Your use of the Services is at your sole risk:

Canada Web Pro does not maintain backups of dedicated accounts or the Services purchased by you. You should not rely on the Canada Web Pro for backup. It is solely your responsibility to maintain backups. Canada Web Pro. is not responsible for files and/or data residing on your account. You agree to take full responsibility for all files and data transferred and to maintain all appropriate backup of files and data stored on the servers. This is why we recommend every WordPress Managed Cloud Hosting Plan to purchase a Website Guard Backup service.

Email Accounts

Canada Web Pro does not retain backups of any emails sent or received through hosting‑based email accounts. In the event of a system failure or adverse incident, only full server‑level email restoration is possible. Individual email messages or mailboxes cannot be recovered or transferred to another hosting provider.
