Website Package Included Updating Details

Overview

Clients who host their website with Canada Web Pro receive 30 minutes of included website updating per month. This time is intended for small, quick content updates that keep your website accurate and up‑to‑date. Included time resets monthly and does not roll over.

This page explains exactly what is included, what is not included, and how additional work is billed.

Included Monthly Updates (30 minutes)

These updates are small, simple, and do not change the structure, layout, SEO, or AIO optimization of your website.

Included:

• Text edits (minor wording changes, corrections, updated hours, small additions)
• Image replacements (swapping an existing image for a new one)
• Uploading a blog post you provide (light formatting only)
• Updating contact information (phone, email, address, hours)
• Changing links on existing buttons or menu items
• Adding or removing a few images in an existing gallery
• Small spacing or alignment fixes
• Editing text inside existing SiteOrigin widgets (no structural changes)
• Basic form text updates (labels, descriptions; no new fields)
• Replacing existing downloadable files (PDFs, menus, brochures)

These tasks typically take only a few minutes and fit within the included time.

Not Included (Billable Work)

These tasks fall outside the scope of the included monthly updates because they require design, development, SEO, AIO, or structural work.

Not included:

• Creating new pages (billed at your flat $100/page rate)
• Major layout changes or redesigns of sections
• SiteOrigin training or client editing instruction
• SEO work (rewriting content, keyword optimization, metadata, schema)
• AIO optimization (factual blocks, structured content, AI search tuning)
• Graphic design (banners, icons, logos, custom visuals)
• Plugin installation, configuration, or troubleshooting
• E‑commerce updates (products, pricing, shipping rules)
• Custom development (PHP, CSS, JS, template edits)
• Fixing issues caused by client edits or third‑party changes

These tasks are billed at standard per‑task pricing at $25CAD per 15 minute sessions, or a custom quote for larger updates.

Hosting Requirement

The included 30 minutes of monthly updates is available only for clients who host their website with Canada Web Pro.

Clients who host elsewhere may request updates, but all work is billed at standard updating rates.

Monthly Reset Policy

Included update time:

• Resets on the first day of each month
• Does not accumulate or roll over
• Cannot be banked for future use

Unused time expires at the end of each month.

Client Editing Liability

Even with this included service updating service, you still have full access to your WordPress Admin. It is your website and you have full control.

If a client edits their website and causes layout issues, SEO/AIO damage, plugin conflicts, or broken pages, repair work is not included and will be billed at standard rates.

This ensures your website remains professionally maintained and optimized.

Requesting Updates

To request updates:

• Email your changes to info@canadawebpro.ca
• Provide any text, images, or files needed
• Include clear instructions

Most small updates are completed within 24 to 48 hours.  If a request exceeds the 30‑minute allowance, you will receive an extra cost estimate before work begins. No surprises is the policy.

Additional Update Time

If you require more than 30 minutes per month, additional time can be purchased as an add‑on.
